Independent analyst firm Forrester Research, Inc. has declared in their Forrester Wave research that  Teradata has the top-rated Enterprise Data Warehouse strategy. Forrester Wave is used by many companies to compare vendor offerings and create a custom vendor shortlist.

Also found in the leaders section, Oracle, Sybase (SAP), and IBM which the  analyst firm recognizes as offering high-performance, scalable, flexible, and robust EDW solutions. Teradata earned the highest possible score for more than half of the criteria, including scalability, performance and optimization, mixed workload management, deployment and execution flexibility, software and hardware platform integration, product direction and professional services.
