CloudTimes is proud to announce a media partnership with the Launch Festival, at the San Francisco Design Center Concourse, 635 8th St in San Francisco, from March 4th – 6th, 2013. The 2013 LAUNCH Festival is the best place to launch startups, raise money and learn about starting a company.
FREE TICKETS TO GIVE AWAY – SEE THE BOX BELOW
40 companies launch (1.0 track) or launch new products (2.0 track) and compete for titles including Best Design, Best Technology, and Best Overall with 5,000+ attendees and 3,000 people in the audience making it the “largest live audience in technology.”
Angels, accelerators and VCs invested $1.4M in companies from LAUNCH FESTIVAL 2012. We expect to have $2M available this time! Our Grand Jury of seasoned investors and top journalists will observe all the main-stage action and choose our winners, while our judges will sit on stage and give instant feedback on every demo. Plus we’ll have hundreds of already launched startups in our Demo Pit — those that most impress the Grand Jury will get to present on stage.
Here are some of the latest updates for the 2013 show:
1) Fireside chats with Ev Williams and Chamath Palihapitiya
We are honored that Ev (co-founder of Twitter, CEO at The Obvious Corporation) and Chamath (former FB exec & partner, The Social + Capital Partnership) will sit down with Jason for fireside chats!
You can catch Chamath at 9:15am on March 4, and Ev right after lunch on March 5.
Their bios are at http://festival.launch.co/keynotes.html
2) Wow, more than $300k in investment prizes!
Once again, a number of angel investors and funds have earmarked investments for LAUNCH Festival startups. These investments will be announced on stage, and of course are pending post-conference due diligence and paperwork.
CloudTimes will be present at the show – look for our demo table.
But even better – we have 50 (!) free tickets to give away. To get them Follow us on Twitter and Like us on Facebook – then send us an email: info AT cloudtimes DOT org and we’ll send you the coupon right away.
